Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0. Comments: French, circa 1875, Gaultier. Value Points: desirable size 0 poupee has lovely original wig, sturdy original body and is wearing antique blue silk faille gown with blue velvet panels, undergarments, matching bonnet, stockings, leather heeled boots, and antique earrings and brooch.

8 1/2" (22 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, thigh-high painted blue stockings and black two-strap shoes with sculpted bows, wearing blue silk dress and matching bonnet. Marks: 886 S 5 H. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: fine rare large size with beautiful expression and bisque, rare stockings.

16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, very wide blue glass paperweight eyes with very rich spiral threading, dark eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, painted short curly lashes, arched feathered brows, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume features original Jumeau factory white pinafore dress, along with undergarments, bonnet, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0. Comments: Emile Jumeau, first period bebe from the firm's luxury line, circa 1877. Value Points: very beautiful bebe with splendid eyes, finest painting of facial features, original body and body finish.

Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderhead, brilliant cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, ash blonde original mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, early period poupee, circa 1860. Value Points: rare petite size, brilliant eyes, very fine bisque, very sturdy original body and original costume comprising white cotton two-piece gown with pagoda sleeves, undergarments, bonnet, leather ankle heeled boots.

9" (23 cm.) The heavy cast brass chandelier has six gracefully-curved arms and bulbous shaping of center form. Signed V. Fong Grenna. Excellent condition. The Swedish firm of V. Fong created various cast brass candle sticks and chandeliers during the early 1900s; examples in this miniature size are rare to find. Included with the chandelier is a walnut pedestal parlor table with two secret drawers and fancy carving, along with a white porcelain tea service.

20" (51 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted short curly lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde fleecy lambswool wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C 3. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1884. Value Points: rare model with superb detail of sculpting, bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wonderful antique lace and aqua silk costume, ruffled lace cap, undergarments, leather shoes, blue socks.

For Bebe Jumeau size 10. Featuring a blue silk satin frock with fitted yoke trimmed with bands of lace, wide ruffled lace Bertha collar, rounded neckline, puffed sleeves, lace cuffs and bands of lace at skirt and hemline; with a matching wire-framed bonnet lined in pleated lace and accented with blue patterned silk bows. Included is a matching blue satin parasol with dog head handle, white cotton slip, and coutil bebe stays stamped size "10". Also included is a white cotton waffle-weave dress with cutwork designs and aqua silk bows. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885. The costume is presented in original boutique box with engraving of identical white dress on the lid.

9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed arms with modeled bent elbows and curled fingers, peg-jointed muscular legs with defined blushed knees, painted ribbed stockings with blue rims, yellow ankle boots with black laces. Condition: generally excellent, excellent professional restoration on left fingers. Marks: 102 12. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: superb modeling enhanced by sublime blushing, muscular detail, painted high yellow boots.

17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, deposed Dehors neck articulation that also allows the head to tilt forward and back and lean side-to-side (as well as swivel), cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately-painted lashes and brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden poupee body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, and with extra pivot at waist and mid-thighs, sculpted curled fingers. Condition: generally excellent, small piece of wood missing on lower left thigh. Marks: 4 (head and shoulder). Comments: French, circa 1867. Value Points: the beautiful poupee has several features which indicate her luxury production, namely, Dehors neck articulation and deluxe articulation of wooden body, and is presented with her original couturier silk gown, bonnet, undergarments, and in original box. Ex-collection Paris Musee de la Poupee.

15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead depicting fretful-faced young man, painted light brown hair, intaglio dark blue eyes, short frowning brows, white eye dots, rounded nose, closed mouth with center accent line, plump cheeks and little double chin, kid jointing body, bisque forearms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 620 DRGM Germany. Comments: Marseille, circa 1910, from the firm's art character series. Value Points: well-rendered sculpting of frowning-faced boy with exemplary bisque, the model is quite rare to find.
